Thumper at Home

As much as I love showing... that is really only a small part of my life!  I also have lots of responsibilities at home...I have to watch over mom and dad, teach the other dogs at the house, and keep an eye on our grounds.  These pictures will show you a little part of that part of my life.

Even while at home, one simply must keep up with the news... especially to what's happening in the Schipperke world!

Thumper and Bambi in fridge2.jpg (57449 bytes) An important job of mine is teaching the youngsters... in this case my daughter... where to find the food!  Now, hunting became obsolete long ago (although it still makes a fine recreational activity).  Today, we our food comes from the magic white box.  This is a place where good things appear on a regular basis, and if you communicate with the humans of the house that you are hungry (and as their understanding of the canine vocabulary is rudimentary at best, keep it simple) they will take something out and serve it up to you.  However, independent exploration can be an enjoyable activity as well.
